HasanAbi Accuses xQc of Promoting Gambling, xQc Counters with Accusations of Hypocrisy

(AsiaGameHub) –   Controversial streamer Hasan “HasanAbi” Piker recently accused fellow popular streamer xQc of causing harm to society, as the latter shares gambling content with his viewers. In response, xQc hit back by calling out Hasan for apparent double standards related to the political views he promotes to his own audience.

xQc Hits Back at HasanAbi

The ongoing conflict between popular streamers xQc and Hasan is far from new, and this latest clash marks another chapter in their long-running dispute. “Are we really comparing my contributions to the American political space the same as, like, xQc’s role in driving up gambling debt? It’s fucking insane,” Hasan asked rhetorically during one of his recent live streams.

Hasan’s remarks soon caught xQc’s attention, and he responded by claiming Hasan promotes socialism to his audience while failing to actually abide by those principles in his personal life. “Bro is leading all his followers down this socialist rabbit hole, when he doesn’t even follow the system he preaches. His viewers could be rolling in cash, instead they’re out here spouting this dogshit,” the Canadian streamer said.

The Clash Is Part of a Long-Running Dispute

Bad blood between the two streamers dates back to 2022, when xQc ranked Piker in the “B” tier of a YouTube tier list, which prompted Piker to criticize him for promoting crypto gambling to younger audiences. Their feud escalated in October 2025 after Piker faced widespread backlash for using a shock collar on his dog, an incident that was discussed at length across online communities and severely damaged the streamer’s reputation. The situation also led xQc to release a long-form video accusing Piker of animal abuse.

Meanwhile, gambling content has made up a large portion of xQc’s output over the past few years, ever since he signed a multi-million-dollar deal with streaming platform Kick, whose co-founder owns Stake, a well-known online gambling site. Unsurprisingly, Stake has sponsored a number of the Canadian streamer’s broadcasts, and xQc has shared that he earns $200,000 per gambling-focused stream.

In the online entertainment space, where personalities like xQc and Piker hold considerable influence over their audiences, conflicts and controversies are nearly unavoidable. As their feud continues to develop, it highlights the power and accountability that come with being a prominent figure in the digital age, and how that influence can shape the worldview of millions of people across the world.

xQc has also stated that if he ever returns to streaming on Twitch, he will still find a way to promote Stake, even though the platform has far stricter policies governing gambling content.
