HK shares open lower as investors fret over Ukraine

Hong Kong stocks opened lower on Tuesday, extending losses into a third day, with investors worried about the possible invasion of Ukraine by Russia.

The Hang Seng Index slipped 0.4 percent to 24,458.

The Shanghai Composite Index was marginally lower, inching down 0.84 points to 3,428, while the Shenzhen Composite Index added 0.2 percent to 2,256. (AFP)
