Hong Kong stocks opened solidly higher on Thursday following a broadly positive lead from New York as investors welcomed Joe Biden’s US$2 trillion infrastructure spending plan.
The Hang Seng Index rose 0.8 percent to 28,594.
The Shanghai Composite Index edged up 0.1 percent to 3,444, while the Shenzhen Composite Index also added 0.1 percent to 2,220. (AFP)
