HK stocks becalmed at open after days of losses

Hong Kong shares were barely moved at the open on Thursday following a three-day sell-off, with casino operators stabilising after the previous day’s falls.

The Hang Seng Index inched up 8.8 points to 25,042.

The Shanghai Composite Index edged up 0.2 percent to 3,664, while the Shenzhen Composite Index was marginally up, adding 1.09 points to 2,485. (AFP)
